Exciting Changes to this Year's WAEA Annual Conference!

Dear WAEA Member:

It's still several months away … but some very exciting changes are under way for this year's WAEA Annual Conference & Exhibition … 17-20 September 2007 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada!

First of all, you'll notice that we've shifted to a Monday-through-Thursday schedule (from the traditional Tuesday-through-Friday). This, combined with other schedule changes, should create a better travel schedule for you to and from the event.

The Sunday-evening “Welcome Reception” (16 Sept.) will take place in the Exhibit Hall ... to give you some additional “unstructured” time to browse through the Hall and network while getting a valuable overall look at the show floor.

We'll officially launch the Conference with our Monday morning “Opening Session” … now featuring the Avion Awards presentation (… more to follow about the Avion Awards in the coming weeks and months).

This year's Educational Sessions will feature edgier topics and new formats designed to address your real-world technical and operational IFE concerns.

This year's program also features a “New-Vendor Showcase” … a dedicated session giving you quick , concise introductions to the products and services from Vendors new to this year's Exhibition.

New 20-minute slots for your Exhibit Hall appointments … giving you greater flexibility in scheduling. Book single slots for those quick meetings; book double or triple slots for more involved consultations and demos.

The Tuesday (midweek) Networking Event will now be our “featured” event … an exciting, full-evening affair with themed entertainment and nonstop fun.

And, immediately following the close of the Exhibit Hall on Thursday afternoon, we'll end the Conference with a casual and comfortable Farewell Reception, letting you relax and unwind from the week … and giving you the opportunity to catch a late Thursday flight home.

These enhancements, based on your feedback, are designed to maximize your time and productivity during this information-packed, fast-paced week. We'll be giving you many more details in the coming weeks and months!
