Lifetime Achievement Award

This award shall be presented to a member whose long-term efforts, dedication, and sustained commitment in support of airline inflight entertainment and communications and/or the WAEA have, in the opinion of the WAEA Board of Directors, clearly established that individual's career as a lifetime industry achievement.

Any person proposed for this honor must receive a 3/4 majority vote from the Board of Directors present at a duly recognized Board Meeting. Any person proposed should be supported by representatives of 4 different member companies in good standing.
Proposal Form

This award is traditionally presented at the opening session at the Annual Conference & Exhibition. Recipients of this award are granted Honorary Membership in WAEA.

Outstanding Contribution Award

This award shall be presented to an individual whose contributions, innovations, or leadership has, in the opinion of the WAEA Board of Directors, generated a significant and fundamental improvement to the nature of airline inflight entertainment and communications.

Any person proposed for this honor must receive a simple -majority vote from the Board of Directors at a duly recognized Board meeting.
