FROM THE AIRPORT
Changi Airport ( www.changi.airport.com.sg ) is served by more than 70 airlines flying to more than 160 cities in 53 countries.

Swissôtel The Stamford is about 20 kilometers (12 miles) west of Changi Airport. Journey time to the Singapore business district is about 20-30 minutes.

A Ground Transport Centre (GTC) is available at the Arrival Hall of both Terminals. The various ground transportation services such as Limousine Services, Airport Shuttle Service, Car Rental Services and Qantas Holidays can be found in the GTC. Visitors may approach the various counters to book their transportation services.

The Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) system is operational if you are entering the East Coast Parkway, Pan Island Expressway, Ayer Rajah Expressway and Central Expressway, between 7.30am to 9.30am on weekdays. ERP is also applicable when one enters the Central Business District on weekdays, from 7.30am to 7.00pm and on Saturdays, from 12pm - 8.00pm. For this, you will need a cash card which you can purchase from your car rental company.

CAR RENTALS
If you prefer to drive, do visit the Car Rental Counters located at the Ground Transport Centre in the Arrival Meeting Halls of both terminals. To cater for the ERP (Electronic Road Pricing), you will need to purchase a cash card from the car rental company if you do not already have one. Parking is available at Swissôtel The Stamford for SGD$2 per hour.

BY CAR
Journey time to the Singapore business district is about 20-30 minutes. By car take the East Coast Parkway directly into the city where the hotel is located. Parking is available at Swissôtel The Stamford for SGD$2 per hour.

TAXIS / CABS
You can catch a taxi to any destination at the taxi stands outside of each terminal's Arrival Hall. This service is available 24 hours daily, and advance bookings can be made with taxi companies with a minimal booking charge. An Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) system is operational on major expressways and within the Central Business District area to ensure smooth traffic during peak hours. So you may be required to pay a surcharge if applicable.

Travel Fare/Destination (From Airport to City) is approximately S$16.00 - S$24.00 - about $15 US Dollars. (excluding surcharges approx. SGD$3-5 depending on the time of day). Midnight surcharge is 50% of metered fare (midnight - 6am ), Airport surcharge is S$5.00 Fri-Sun (5pm to midnight) and
S$3.00 all other times

BY RAIL
Budget rides to the city can be made on the Singapore Mass Rapid Transit ( SMRT ) services ( http://www.smrt.com.sg/ ). Swissôtel The Stamford lies above the City Hall MRT Rail Station, which is an interchange station between the North South Line and the East West Line. Delegates can take the MRT from Changi Airport Terminal 2 ( also accessible via the Skytrain from Terminal 1) to City Hall MRT Station. It takes about 27 minutes to reach the city. Delegates can also take the MRT from downtown to the Swissôtel The Stamford, which is in the heart of the city. The City Hall MRT Station is approx. 100 meters from the hotel. Fares range from SGD$1.00 to SGD$2.50.

Travel Fare/Destination (From Airport to City) is below S$2.00 (Not inclusive of S$1 refundable deposit for single trip ticket.) The MRT runs at 12 minute intervals from 5:31am - 11:18pm (Mon-Sat) and 5:59am - 11:18pm (Sun/Public Holidays.)

PUBLIC BUSES
Budget rides to the city can be made on the bus (http://www.transitlink.com.sg) Bus terminals are located at the basement of Terminals 1 and 2.

Information on bus services is available near the bus stands. Please prepare the exact fare for buses as no change will be given. You can obtain change from the Money Changers in the Arrival Halls of both terminals.

Travel Fare/Destination (From Airport to City) is below S$2.00 and the buses run daily, 6am to midnight. Note: Bus No. 36 which goes to the city, ends at 11pm
