Shuttle Service
Roundtrip shuttle bus transportation will be provided to the Museum of Hamburg History from both the Messe & CCH. Travel time to venue is approx. 10-15 minutes.
 As a special treat during the welcome reception, delegates will have complimentary access for self-guided tours through selected sections of the museum. Learn first hand about intricate details of the city of Hamburg from the 8th through to the 20th centuries. In addition to scale models that illustrate the changing shape of the city's famous harbour, exhibits cover reconstructions of various structures, such as the hall of a 17th-century merchant's home to an air raid shelter from World War II.

Called the "pride of Hamburg," the Ratsweinkeller is a popular restaurant in the vaults of Hamburg's Rathaus (city hall) where ship models decorate the stone and brick arches of the late 19th-century hall.  Although there are many Ratskeller's in Germany there is only one Ratsweinkeller. Known as such because it obtained a concession for "Brandwein" (a kind of schnaps) around the year 1800 so they are allowed to produce and to sell their own schnaps. The number of famous persons who have visited the Ratsweinkeller is enormous and include 290 Heads of State and various members of Royal Families, such as Princess Diana, The Queen of the Netherlands (Beatrix), and the Spanish Royal Family. The Ratsweinkeller is one of only a few restaurants that still offers real hanseatic food.
