Visa Information
Most visitors to Switzerland need only a valid passport and a round-trip ticket. However, visitors from some countries may also need a visa.  Additionally, some countries require passports that must be valid for at least 3 months after leaving Swiss territory. Please check with your tourist bureau for exact requirements for your country and plan ahead so you have optimal time to obtain needed documents.

Getting There

GETTING TO THE ZURICH MARRIOTT HOTEL FROM ZURICH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

By Shuttle Bus: Departure between Terminal 1 and 2, bus operated by “Joker Bus”, runs every 30 minutes from 6.30 AM until 11.30 PM. Airport shuttle service fee: CHF 19 (approx. USD 16) one way.

By Taxi: Taxi stands located just outside Terminal 1 and 2, the ride takes around 15 minutes and costs approx. CHF 50 (USD 40)

By Train: Take the train to Zurich Main (HB - Hauptbahnhof) station, trains run approx. every 10 minutes. At Zurich Main station change to Tram 11 or 14 in direction of Oerlikon, get off at Stampfenbachplatz, the Marriott is the high tower a bit further on to your left. Or simply take a taxi at Zurich Main station – the Marriott is just about 5 minutes away.

By Car : Approx. 10 km (6 miles) drive (15 minutes). Exit the airport following the green highway signs to Zurich-City. You will go through two tunnels (Milchbucktunnel). When you come out of the 2nd tunnel, turn left at traffic-lights (Wasserwerkstrasse) and you will see the hotel in front of you.



GETTING TO THE SOFITEL ZURICH HOTEL FROM ZURICH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT :
