Working Group (WWG) Charter
Original Mission Statement - "To advance the approval
and use of consumer wireless devices (intention RF emitters)
onboard and in the traveling environment."
To provide
an open forum between the organization members for discussing
fundamental interests in common for future wireless systems
onboard aircraft.
Assist
/ help in establishing order to the use or introduction of
onboard wireless devices.
Identify
and attempt to build a process for which members may more
easily and collectively influence and communicate with world
aviation, safety and spectrum regulatory bodies having influence
over onboard wireless concepts.
Provide
an avenue for collectively producing input to industry standards
committees.
